Flower Colors and Emotions

Yellow is one of my favorite colors. I love wearing yellow dresses, yellow shirts, yellow shoes…you name it – I’m into it. Yellow is such a happy color. And what better way to celebrate summer than with these top eight yellow summer flowers?

Meaning of Yellow Flowers

Yellow flowers mean happiness, joy, and sunshine. They’re cheerful, bright, and happy. Yellow flowers are perfect for summer because they bring warmth and cheerfulness to any environment.

They’re also great for weddings, birthdays, graduations, anniversaries, and other special occasions. So when you find yourself surrounded by yellow flowers this summer, take a moment to appreciate them.

Top 8 Yellow Summer Flowers

  • Sunflowers

Sunflowers are one of my favorite flowers. They’re bright and cheerful, and they grow well in sunny areas. If you live in an area where there are plenty of sunflowers, then you should definitely consider planting some yourself.

  • Zinnias

Zinnias are another flower that I really enjoy. They are very colorful, come in a variety of shapes and sizes, and they bloom early in the season. Top 8 Yellow Summer Flowers

  • Marigolds

Marigolds are easy to care for, very pretty, and make a great addition to your garden. Some marigold varieties even have edible petals!

  • Lilies

Lilies are one of my favorite plants in general because they look so elegant yet simple. Also, lilies are available in almost any shade from white to black, which makes them perfect for adding depth to your garden, if yellow is not your go-to color.

  • Gerber Daisies

Gerber daisies are a type of gerbera, which means that they will keep blooming all summer long. This is quite rare in other types of flowers, but when they do stop blooming, you can just cut off the faded parts and stick them in water to keep them alive and replant them.

  • Daffodils

Daffodils are another beautiful flower that comes in a wide range of colors. They’re very popular, especially in spring and early summer. They also have profound meaning and symbolism that makes them a perfect choice for intentional flower gifting!

  • Tulips

Tulips are another favorite flower of mine. They’re gorgeous, and they come in a wide variety of colors. They symbolize love, friendship, and beauty. The Dutch call them “tulpen” which means “tulip.”

  • Hyacinths

Hyacinths are another flower that I love. They’re delicate, pretty, and they come in various shades of blue.

Summertime means fresh flowers, and there’s no better way to celebrate than with beautiful blooms. But how do you choose how to pick out the perfect flower for your special occasion?

First, decide whether you’re going for a classic look or a modern feel. Classic looks include roses, peonies, lilies, tulips, and hydrangeas. Modern looks include daisies, sunflowers, zinnias, marigolds, and snapdragons.

Next, consider the season. Spring and the beginning of summer are great times to choose bright, bold blooms like daffodils, tulips, and irises. Summer is the peak season for many types of flowers, including gerbera daisies, sunflower, and zinnia as we have seen above.

Now that you’ve chosen your flowers, it’s time to select the right vase. The shape of the vase should match the type of flower you chose. If you want to add some extra flair to your bouquet, try adding a ribbon or bow. This will give your bouquet a personal touch and help set it apart from others.

And don’t forget to keep your bouquet simple. Too many flowers can be overwhelming and detract from the beauty of your flowers. Keep it simple and let your flowers speak for themselves.
