Naturally Green flowers are one of nature’s wonder. They are unique and they come in a myriad of different hues of green. Green is also associated with balance and harmony. It’s often said that green is the color of life.

The word “green” comes from the Latin word “Verde” meaning “of or belonging to the woods.” It symbolizes life, growth, health, prosperity, and happiness. Did you know that there are hundreds of types of plants that are considered “green”? Over 1,000 species of flowering plants are classified as “green.” So what makes these plants green?

Well, the color green comes from chlorophyll, an organic compound found in plants. Chlorophyll converts sunlight into energy, which it then uses to convert water into oxygen and food. Chlorophyll is the reason why plants have a vibrant green color.
